Yeah, the reaction of Nassim Taleb has been remarkable however… Zero. NNT pretends nothing is happening.
Twitter community and LindyMan
Obviously, all that monkey business could not take too long, so LindyMan was expelled first from Substack, and then from Ghost.

His fans were freaking out.
LindyMan went defensive, tried to move his “newsletters” to a new platform, but without much success.
I’ve heard a theory that his copy-pasting compulsive urge is akin to a disease, pretty uncontrollable from his side.
The only clear outcome was an increased feeling of insecurity, that might explain his mass blocking on Twitter.
The same insecurity explains his attention seeking. You need powerful people to notice your presence. The question is, of course, why such a nice guy as Daniel (saying without sarcasm) who has a community of his own, would follow such a dubious account?

Nassim Taleb and Lindyman
Nassim Taleb, despite his book SITG was cynically plagiarized by the guy who “improved” the wording, prefers to appear like a friend or mentor of Lindyman, saying that he owns him for some contribution about blue color topic (“blue problem”) in the past.
At the same time, Nassim Taleb often misspells his name on Twitter. Not clear if it is entirely accidental, or to keep a distance from the troublesome character.
Some audience was actually enthusiastic to admit their close relationship.
Nassim Taleb never hesitates to start a fight on Twitter (we cannot imagine him calling Jordan Peterson “idiot” in real life, but on Twitter it is pretty safe) and to attack even his close (former) friends and “pre-enemies”.
Although NNT Twitter community is vulnerable (we hope everything is stable for Trishãnk for now), Lindyman seems to be immune to that risk so far.
“If you see fraud, and don’t call it fraud…” you know. You must have a good reason to keep your mouth shut.
Aftermath
So, what do we have at this point? Well, not much has changed. Lindyman keeps plagiarizing (if you think this tweet is originally from him, think again):
He moved to a new platform
, and I wonder if their admins are aware that they host a serial plagiarist, previously expelled from SubStack and Ghost for misconduct...https://lindynewsletter.beehiiv.com/
All and all, he creates nothing new, repeats dull memes, and clichés that in 2023 are neither original nor smart, even those he “borrowed” from other authors. Trying hard to make witty comments on daily news. Never-ending “Lindy walk” retweets and “pull of the weekend” mantra. His huge audience on Twitter only confirms the point that BS sells well and a limping cult is still a cult.
Being scandalous is attractive, but with time Lindyman has lost his vigor.
Without specific talents as it seems, he continues writing about “cultural” topics in his posts of mediocre quality and value like the one below. This is probably his true genuine product. Or maybe not, who knows.
